Today was a tough day, though different from the first. The elevation didn’t hit as hard despite a larger climb and an overall longer walk. We just received word that Samuel is having his kidney transplant as I type this and he should be done within 6 hours or so. Things are looking good for him, thankfully. We crossed the border into Spain today and I’m happy to be able to use my poor Spanish to ask for another glass of wine or a large beer. Vibes are still incredibly high and it’s not even dark out but I’m going to bed. I don’t think i’ve ever been so tired in my life.
